Zero-Electricity Looms
Every saree on our looms is powered solely by the rhythmic kinetic movement of the weaver's hands and feet. Pit looms and wooden frame looms require zero kilowatt-hours of electrical energy, producing practically zero direct carbon emissions during the entire weaving process.
Botanical & Mineral Dyes
Our Kalamkari and Bagru collections use natural colors derived from indigo leaves, madder root, pomegranate rinds, turmeric, and fermented iron jaggery rust. They are completely free of toxic heavy metals, synthetic AZO compounds, and petroleum additives.
100% Biodegradable Fibers
We work exclusively with pure mulberry silk, desi organic cotton, and hand-spun linen yarns. Unlike synthetic polyester, nylon, or georgettes that shed microplastics with every wash and persist in landfills for centuries, our natural fibers return safely to the soil.
Plastic-Free Packaging
Your heirloom arrives packed inside an unbleached, reusable cotton muslin dust sleeve, encased in recycled kraft paper gift boxes. We have eliminated single-use plastic bubble wraps and polyethylene sleeves from our fulfillment atelier.
